10 most unique, proved prophecies of Holy Quran and Sunnah
In the name of Allah The most beneficent and The most merciful. The modern era
we breath in, is a scientific boom. It has surprised man to extremes
with wonders of technology. With each advancement it is revealing the
glory of Holy Quran by proving
the prophecies, Allah Almighty has mentioned long ago in the Holy Scripture. The ten most unique prophecies of Holy Quran, that have been proved scientifically are as follows:

1) The Description of Iron’s Origin in Qur’an
وَأَنزَلْنَا الْحَدِيدَ فِيهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيدٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ
And We sent down Iron, wherein is mighty power, as well as many benefits for mankind.
The atomic number of iron is 26. There are four naturally occurring stable isotopes of iron with atomic weights of 54, 56, 57, and 58.The isotope iron 56 is the most abundant form of iron on earth. The 57th Sūrah of the Qur’ān is named after iron, Sūrah Al-Hadīd and iron 57 is possibly the most abundant isotopic form of iron in the universe. In this Sūrah the word iron appears in the 25th verse. All of the chapters of the Quran (except one) begin with the bismillah and it is considered by many scholars to be a verse. Counting the bismillah as a verse brings us to the word iron (hadīd) in the 26th verse which is the same as the atomic number of iron, the number of protons. The Sūrah itself contains 29 verses, but with the bismillah the total is 30, the number of neutrons in iron.

2) Coronary By-pass surgery
Did We not open
up and expand your breast for you and remove your load from you which
weighed down your back? Did We not raise your renown high? For truly
with hardship comes ease; truly with hardship comes ease.
(Qur'an, 94:1-6)
The coronary artery supplies blood to heart. In case of hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis), narrowing and blockages can arise in these arteries. If the condition prevails , the passage of the blood is obstructed and the heart receives inadequate supply. This leads to chest pains,
malfunctioning of heart and may cause heart attacks. The expression
"Alam nashrah laka sadraka" in the above verse-translated as "Did we not
open up and expand your breast for you…"-may be a sign of heart
disorders of this kind and present-day coronary by-pass surgery because
literal meanings of term "lam nashrah" express the act "to cut open
flesh and similar substances." In such surgeries, the heart is accessed
by splitting the breastbone in two. As a result the blood is enabled to
flow again and chest pain purges. The term "expand" in the above verse may be a sign of the removal of such congestion of the arteries.
Furthermore, it is most wise that immediately after this Sura Allah
should swear by the olive, which is so beneficial to the heart.

3) Neutron Bombs and Warplanes
Are you not aware of how your Lord dealt with the Army of the Elephant?
Surah Fil
speaks of how Allah Almighty wiped out Abrāhah who came to destroy the
Ka`aba with a huge army accompanied by elephants.. According to the
tafsīr of Imām Suyūtī, that these were “pebbles spinning at extremely
high speed and red hot, and written on each pebble was the name of the
person to be struck by it, and his father’s name.” As they flew through
the air they left a glowing red trail in the darkness. If we ponder upon
what was sent on Abrāhah’s army were guided missiles, trailing red
light like today’s tracers. Sahaba, described them as banādir a word
meaning rifles now - did they know about rifles at that time?
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ
We sent against them birds
Allah sent a
normal creation, birds, but with such potentials that made them similar
to our modern airplanes. Allah’s “warplanes” were these birds that were
far more effective than the airplanes of today. What were they carrying?
The Qur’ānic explanations describe hijāratin min sijjīl as pebbles –
fiery pebbles. In fact “pebbles” does not convey the meaning of the
term. If a pebble hits you it kills you. But Allah said,
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ
and caused them to become like a field of grain that has been eaten down to stubble.
It no longer
means simply pebbles. It is something that explodes inside them
destroying them but not destroying the House of Allah. Today they
invented something that is similar to what is described in this sūrah –
something which destroys without harming the physical surroundings. That
is the neutron bomb. Allah eliminated the army sent to destroy the
sacred House with an army of “warplanes” carrying guided missiles, each
one tipped with something like a neutron bomb.
4) AIDS
"It never happens that permissiveness overwhelms a people
to the extent that they display their acts of sex shamelessly and they
are not uniquely punished by God. Among them, invariably, pestilence is
made to spread and such other diseases, the like of which have never
been witnessed by their forefathers." (Ibn-e-Majah, Kitab-ul-Fitan)
Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was neither a doctor nor a magician, but a Prophet of God who didn't copy from the Bible and paste in the Quran and foretell the same fate of perverts of Sodom and Gomorrah for the future perverts, but a unique disease never heard or known by earlier people, AIDS! The medical scientists are unanimous that this disease is never recorded in the annals of history.
Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was neither a doctor nor a magician, but a Prophet of God who didn't copy from the Bible and paste in the Quran and foretell the same fate of perverts of Sodom and Gomorrah for the future perverts, but a unique disease never heard or known by earlier people, AIDS! 5) Finger prints:
"Their skins will bear witness against them as to what they have been doing" (41:21)

These verses of
Quran foretold about finger printing technique long ago. Now a days
finger printing is widely used in forensic medicine, criminal
investigation, archeology, pathology, toxicology, entmology,
psychoanalysis, serology, odontology, computer forensics, DNA finger printing and forensic microanalysis etc prove the fulfillment of this Quranic prophecy.
6) Embryology
[AL-MUMENOON 23: 12-14] Verily We created man from a product of wet earth; Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe
lodging; Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a
little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the
bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed
be Allah, the Best of creators!
The verse mentions three primary stages of embryonic development: (1) a “seed,” “drop” or “semen” phase (in Arabic, “nutfah”), (2) followed by a “clot” phase (in Arabic, “Alaqah”), (3) followed finally by a “morsel of flesh” or “chewed lump” phase (in Arabic, “Mudghah”). Some other additional suras and hadiths, particularly that of Bukhari and Muslim give some relevant information. e.g, following hadith tells us about developmental timing of an embryo (Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mus'ud):

“Allah's
Apostle, the true and truly inspired said, "(The matter of the Creation
of) a human being is put together in the womb of the mother in forty
days, and then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period,
and then a piece of flesh for a similar period.” (Sahih Bukhari Vol 4,
Book 54, No 430)
The hadith
clearly states that each of the three phases (nutfah, alaqah and
madghah) takes 40 days each, for a total period of 40 + 40 + 40 = 120
days from conception to the point at which the embryo becomes a fetus.
After that the blood clot was
turned to bone and then God "clothed the bones with flesh" (Qur’an
23:13-14). And finally the gender of the child is assigned by an angel.
اللّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَى وَمَا تَغِيضُ الأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِندَهُ بِمِقْدَارٍ
Allāh doth know
what every female (womb) doth bear, by how much the wombs fall short
(of their time or number) or do exceed. Everything is counted and is
encompassed in His knowledge.
7) The Coccyx and Recreation of Mankind on Judgment Day
Abū Hurayra related that the Prophet Peace be upon him said:
The earth eats all of the human being except the coccyx. He was created from it, and on it he is built.
1400 years back Prophet Peace be upon him said that with death, the whole body is consumed by the earth, except for the coccyx. Scientists couldn't understand it because when a grave was opened they wouldn't find the coccyx bone as all the remains were disintegrated. Scientists were finally able to unveil the secret using the techniques of DNA analysis. They took a sample of the coccyx and subjected it to the most severe stresses imaginable, under conditions which annihilate all other bones and cells, they crushed it under high pressure, boiled it, and even cremated it, yet no matter what they did it was impossible to destroy the DNA contained in the coccyx. Each cell of the human body contains the entire genetic blueprint for the whole body, and this microscopic remnant of the coccygeal DNA contains sufficient information to recreate the entire human being.

8) Cerebrum
Allah Almighty said regarding a disbeliever who forbade the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) , from praying at the Kaaba:
“No! If he
does not stop, We will take him by the naseyah(front of the head), a
lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)!” (Quran 96:15-16)
What is the
relationship between the front of the head and lying and sinfulness? If
we look into the skull at the front of the head, we will find the
prefrontal area of the cerebrum .The motivation and the foresight to
plan and initiate movements occur in the anterior portion of the frontal
lobes, the prefrontal area. This is a region of association cortex. In
relation to its involvement in motivation, the prefrontal area is also
thought to be the functional center for aggression.
So, this area
of the cerebrum is responsible for planning, motivating, and initiating
good and sinful behavior and is responsible for the telling of lies and
the speaking of truth. Thus, it is proper to describe the front of the
head as lying and sinful when someone lies or commits a sin, as the
Quran has said, “...A lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)!”
Scientists have only discovered these functions of the prefrontal area
in the last sixty years, according to Professor Keith L. Moore whereas
Allah has foretold it in Holy Quran ages ago.
9) A Red rose in the sky (THE ROSETTE NEBULA)
When the Heaven shall be cleft asunder, and become rose red, like stained leather.(Surat Rahman, 37)
The Arabic
expression translated above as "become rose red, like stained leather"
is "verdeten ke eddihani." This term compares an image appearing in the
sky to a red rose. This description holds a close resemblance to red
celestial bodies with a plicate appearance, especially the "Rosette
Nebula". Nebula is the name given to cloud-like masses of gas in space.
Before they become nebulae they are stars, and since these stars are
very large, they release gasses into space because of their high
internal pressure and temperatures.These eruptions of gas are very large
and fast. These gasses then combine to form a gas cloud, with a
temperature of more than 15,000 0C. One type of nebula is known as the
"Rosette Nebula" because of its resemblance to a rose. The Rosette
Nebula is also a vast cloud of gas and seems to have an area five times
greater than that of the full moon. Its true diameter is estimated at
130 light years.
10) Quasars and the Gravitational Lens Effect
Allah is the
light of the heavens and the Earth. The metaphor of His light is that of
a niche in which is a lamp, the lamp inside a glass, the glass like a
brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east
nor of the west, its oil all but giving off light even if no fire
touches it. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light whoever He wills
and Allah makes metaphors for mankind and Allah has knowledge of all
things. (Surat an-Nur, 35)
Quasar are highly dense and brightest bodies of universe that look like stars and emit radio waves in space. The word "noor" means “light, brightness, illumination.” The light mentioned in verse refers to quasars. The word “durriyyun”, meaning “bright,” in the expression "kaannaha kawkabun durriyyun” in the verse, itself meaning “like a brilliant star", moreover the verse says of “giving off light even if no fire touches it.” It may refer to the way quasars burn without fire - nuclear fusion. The expression “light upon light” in the verse may well be a reference to the “gravitational lens effect” in astronomy. This effect refers to the way light from a source behind a body with a very dense mass, such as a black hole, departs under the effect of that dense body and reaches us. It appears that there is therefore more than one source of light of the images we see. Due to this “gravitational lens effect,” an object appears to be somewhere different to where it actually is, and in greater numbers. The term “a niche in which is a lamp” in the verse may be interpreted as the niche being the area of gravitational lens effect of a black hole.

The reference
in the verse to “light on light” may be a description of reflected light
forming more than one image. In addition, the term “neither of the east
nor of the west” in the verse is in all likelihood a reference to the
uncertainty of the light’s source. (Allah knows the truth.)
The Holy
Scripture is full of many more such prophecies that have been proved and
many that are yet to be proved. May Allah Almighty bless us with eyes
so pure to find them and mind so pure to understand the logics behind
them.
